MY APPROACH
Leading by Listening
Having chaired Westwood’s Finance and Warrant Commission, and dozens of public hearings, I appreciate how crucial public participation and vigorous, respectful process is for our good governance, particularly with respect to economic development proposals. If elected to the Select Board, my guiding principle will be to lead by listening.
As a trial lawyer for nearly thirty years, I have spent my entire career advocating on behalf of others. I would now like to advocate for you, the residents of Westwood, and for what I see as some of our major priorities - the continued excellence of our schools, health and public safety, financial sustainability, protection of our resources and universal access for all residents to enjoy those resources, and the pro-active engagement and inclusion of residents in the governance of our town.
I hope we can work together toward a vision of what we want Westwood to be for our families and the future generations who become part of our community.
Local government is where the rubber meets the road, where the decisions made directly impact the daily lives of all residents. I am running for the Westwood Select Board because I want to contribute to this community, which has given so much to my family and me. By leveraging the successes of the Town, I would work toward building a thriving future for Westwood, one that is sustainable and inclusive for all residents.
I will bring a fresh perspective, strategic thinking, and a data-driven decision-making approach to the Board, backed by my leadership experience in Westwood, professionally, and in the nonprofit sector.

As a 20-year resident and a mother of three kids who attended Westwood's public schools, I understand well the value of a Westwood education and the need to sustain our standards of excellence.
